There are people who don’t like seeing the “Edit” link on the front-end of their website, but others do.
The purpose of the edit link showing on the front-end is a WordPress thing—as the site owner, you can quickly open a post to edit. One thing to be aware of is that this edit link is only seen by you when you are logged into your site’s admin area.
However, we added a setting that lets you hide this link.
Hide the Edit Link
- Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Options
- Look for the Hide the Edit Link setting and toggle it to hide (blue) the edit links from posts and pages.
- Click the Publish button at the top of the customizer.
