In addition to the free themes, we provide a premium version for most, if not each of the themes that you will find in our growing portfolio. Our premium versions are designed to extend the free theme features by adding more options to help you build your websites.
Since Rough Pixels began, we decided to focus on blogging websites that want lightweight themes that are easy to use. We understand that blog websites do not need extensive, bloated, or confusing themes that add frustration. Simplicity is key to your success!
We know it’s important for you to get a theme that looks amazing without having to waste time trying to figure out how to use it. Plus, when it comes to support, we strongly believe that this is just as important as the theme itself. Support is paramount when it comes to Rough Pixels.
Who is behind Rough Pixels?
My name is Andre and I’m the one behind Rough Pixels since the beginning.
I currently live in the western province of British Columbia, here in Canada. Living out in a remote country area, surrounded by a forest of trees and wild animals, I work from my home studio in a log house; taking many breaks on the back deck with iced caramel coffees. Yes, I’m addicted to these!
I’ve been working with WordPress for over 10 years. Prior to this, I’ve also designed themes and templates for over 15+ years with the Joomla! CMS; a couple of years with Movable Type, and of course, I can also include the newer ClassicPress CMS.
In addition to my development background, I’ve also provided consultation and coaching to people who want to start up their very own website.
